Teacher in Charge: Mrs M. Strauss.
Building on the skills and concepts covered at L1, this L2 Software Development course is centered around managing, designing, and developing a computer program, using more advanced techniques and processes. Students will also have the option to choose web design and database management instead of Python coding.
This course will be assessed using Digital Technologies Achievement standards. The assessment will require students to learn and develop new skills in order to apply them to solving problems. Assessment is a combination of internally and externally assessed standards.
Requirements: While much time is spent developing students' coding projects in class, it is strongly recommended that students have access to a laptop or desktop computer so they can work on them at home as well.
