Course Description

This course will follow the Technological Process of planning, researching, designing and constructing items and garments suitable for a client. 

There will also be the opportunity to make a one off garment, which will be entered into the Pin’d Creative Showcase Fashion Show or any of the other secondary school fashion competitions available to them. This course is the pathway towards L3 university approved credits, Scholarship or a career that involves the fashion and design industry.

This course will be assessed to L1 Achievement Standards. Assessment will focus on internally assessed standards, but students will have the option to sit one externally assessed Achievement Standard. Students will have the opportunity to gain up to 20 credits at L1.
