Students are allocated this course by the Mathematics Department. Allocation will be based on an identified need for support with meeting the numeracy requirements of NCEA in Year 10.


This course is intended for those students who need support in achieving the NCEA L1 and University Entrance Numeracy requirements.

Every student entered in the L1 Numeracy course will attempt the 2 internal assessments available at NCEA Level 1. There will also be time and support dedicated to those who have yet to attain the Numeracy component of the Common Assessment Activity (CAA).
