L1 Numeracy

Required Prior LearningStudents are allocated this course by the Mathematics Department. Allocation will be based on an identified need for support with meeting the numeracy requirements of NCEA in Year 10.
This course is intended for those students who need support in achieving the NCEA L1 and University Entrance Numeracy requirements. The opportunity to study NCEA L1 Achievement Standards next year will be an option for some students.
Every student entered in the L1 Numeracy course will compile a folio which will contain evidence that will allow the classroom teacher to ascertain whether the requirements for the core-generic Numeracy Unit standards have been met.
