Required Prior Learning

Recommendation of your Year 10 Science Teacher and at the discretion of HOD Science.

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop their understanding and skills in horticulture, plant propagation, primary production and their environmental impacts. During this course students will carry out plant propagation techniques such as sowing seeds, pricking out seedlings, planting out or potting on seedlings, making cuttings and understanding plant management practices related to plant physiology

This is could be an academic pathway or interest pathway

This course will be assessed by a selection of Achievement Standards and Unit Standards with students having the opportunity to gain up to 21 credits at L1.
