Year 10 Art Digital (old Creative Media) (Half Year)

Students will design and create imaginary characters which they will  draw based on research into shape language, anatomy drawing, and character backstories. They will learn to paint digitally with a Wacom drawing tablet and use basic Photoshop skills. Then they will learn relief sculpture techniques and create a sculptural bust of their character. 

A key component of this course is the introduction to working digitally in a creative field. It is a taster for future Digital Art courses such as Design and Illustration and Photography.
